Natasha DeVoe:
Natasha grew up in Syracuse, New York, lived through two decades of Minneapolis, Minnesota winters, and now lives in Northwest England.
Her first novel, Margot's Test, grew from a realization that building community resilience is the key to surviving both emergencies and everyday life.
Her work with the Manchester & District Beekeepers led to A Bee Book.
Natasha & Fiona's Collaboration:
Friends since their school days, Fiona and Natasha share a love of the natural world and the beauty of hand-made things.
After Natasha took up beekeeping and then moved to England, she was inspired by her work at the Dower House apiary to write about honeybees from their perspective inside the hive.
Her collaboration with Fiona on A Bee Book was years in the making, incorporating trans-Atlantic visits and school reunions along the way.
Fiona Clark:
Beyond watercolor and paint, Fiona’s talents are multi-dimensional, including blown and fused glass, textiles, and paper arts.
Fiona lives in an old farmhouse in rural Maine where she watches over a small flock of bantam hens from her light-filled studio.
